College Grievance Redressal Cell

A strong Grievance Redressal System is crucial for any institution, and our college takes pride in prioritizing the well-being of both staff and students. Following UGC guidelines, The College established a dedicated committee to address concerns promptly and effectively. Since its inception, the Principal has overseen the committee, ensuring its accessibility and responsiveness. Grievances are carefully assessed and directed to relevant committee members based on their severity. The committee is committed to fostering a harmonious and supportive environment for everyone. We continuously strive to improve our processes, ensuring fair and timely resolutions to all grievances.

Objective- of the Grievance Redressal Committee

To encourage the students to express their grievances freely and frankly.
To promote healthy relationship between students, teachers and non-teaching staff.
To promote & maintain a conducive and unprejudiced educational environment.
To uphold the dignity of the college by ensuring a strife free atmosphere in the college.

Functions of the Grievance Redressal Committee

As per the UGC guidelines (Redressal of Grievances of Students Regulations, 2023, Gazette of India notification dated April, 2023) : every Institute shall constitute a Students’ Grievances Redressal Committee.
Receiving and documenting concerns:The committee welcomes written grievances from both staff and students, ensuring their voices are heard.
Streamlining resolution:A clear mechanism guides grievance handling, ensuring swift and effective solutions.
Escalating complex issues:For intricate cases, the committee escalates findings to management for further action.
Actively investigating:Concerns are attentively listened to, recorded, and scrutinized for fair and immediate action.
Prioritizing based on impact:Grievances are addressed based on their authenticity and potential impact, ensuring the most critical issues are tackled first.
Bridging the gap:The committee acts as a bridge, representing concerns to relevant departments like transport, academics, or amenities.
Regular progress monitoring: Periodic meetings assess the status of grievances, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up until closure.
Upholding confidentiality: Sensitive matters are handled with discretion and confidentiality, respecting individual privacy.
